Paply Terms of Service
Effective date: June 1, 2026
Welcome to Paply. These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using
Paply's dating and social app, websites, support services, profile discovery,
matching, messaging, Meet Mode, event features, Concierge features, memberships,
and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, using the Service, tapping to accept these Terms, or
continuing to use Paply after these Terms are updated, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Paply.
Paply is built for adults who want to meet people safely and respectfully. These
Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines by reference.
- Privacy Policy: https://www.paply.social/privacy
- Community Guidelines: https://www.paply.social/community-guidelines

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Paply. By using
Paply, you confirm that:
- You are 18 or older.
- You can form a legally binding agreement.
- You are not barred from using Paply under applicable law.
- You have not been suspended, banned, or removed from Paply unless we have
given you written permission to return.
- You will comply with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and all laws that
apply to you.
Paply is not intended for children or minors. If we learn that a person under 18
has created an account, we may remove the account and related content.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account. Keep
your sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account
has been accessed without permission.
When you create or update your account, you agree to provide information that is
accurate, current, and not misleading. Some profile fields, such as age, photos,
gender, location, interests, preferences, and dating intentions, help Paply
provide discovery, matching, safety, and personalization features. You are
responsible for keeping this information appropriate and accurate.
You may not:
- Create an account for anyone else without authorization.
- Use another person's account.
- Transfer, sell, rent, or share your account.
- Create multiple accounts to evade moderation, blocks, bans, limits, or safety
controls.
- Misrepresent your identity, age, location, intentions, affiliations, or
relationship status in a way that could deceive or harm others.
3. What Paply Provides
Paply provides tools for profile creation, discovery, swiping, matching,
messaging, blocking, reporting, unmatching, Meet Mode, event discovery or
coordination, chat embeds, games, GIFs, Concierge scheduling, membership
features, notifications, and support.
Paply does not promise that:
- You will receive matches, messages, dates, event invitations, or responses.
- Any user is compatible with you.
- Any user's identity, background, statements, intentions, or profile content is
complete, accurate, or safe.
- Any real-world meeting, event, date, or interaction will be safe, successful,
available, or appropriate.
- Recommendations, ranking, filters, or discovery order will be explainable,
stable, or unchanged.
Use your own judgment when interacting with others online or in person. If you
feel unsafe, leave the situation, contact local emergency services if needed,
and use Paply's block and report tools.
4. Real-World Meetings, Meet Mode, and Events
Paply may help users discover people, coordinate dates, share event interests,
or plan social interactions. You are solely responsible for your decisions to
communicate with, meet, host, attend, travel with, or interact with another
person.
Unless we separately state otherwise for a specific feature, Paply does not
conduct criminal background checks, identity verification, or in-person safety
screening on users, venues, hosts, or events. Paply may use safety systems,
moderation tools, reports, blocks, account signals, and other measures to help
protect the community, but those measures cannot guarantee safety.
You agree not to use Paply to pressure, coerce, stalk, harass, threaten, dox,
exploit, traffic, solicit illegal services from, or otherwise harm another
person. You also agree not to use Paply to arrange unlawful activity, unsafe
substance use, prostitution, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or
activities that create a risk of physical harm.
5. User Content
"User Content" means anything you submit, upload, post, send, display, or make
available through Paply, including profile information, prompts, photos, videos,
messages, reports, event details, date preferences, GIF selections, game
activity, support messages, and feedback.
You keep ownership of your User Content. By using Paply, you give Paply a
worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license
to host, store, copy, process, adapt, display, publish, transmit, moderate,
analyze, and otherwise use your User Content as needed to operate, improve,
secure, promote, and provide the Service. This license includes use for profile
display, discovery, matching, messaging, safety review, moderation, support,
legal compliance, backups, and service improvement.
This license ends when your User Content is deleted from our active systems,
except where retention is needed for safety, security, legal compliance,
backups, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, enforcement, or where another
user has already received or stored the content through the Service.
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the rights needed to submit your User Content.
- Your User Content does not violate another person's rights, including privacy,
publicity, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
6. Profile Photos and Moderation
Paply may review, filter, quarantine, reject, remove, blur, restrict, or delay
profile photos or other User Content before or after it appears in the Service.
Moderation can include automated systems, human review, third-party tooling, and
community reports.
Paply may remove or restrict content that we believe violates these Terms, the
Community Guidelines, law, safety expectations, platform requirements, or the
integrity of the Service. We may also take action if content appears to promote
sexual exploitation, nudity or pornography, minors, hate, threats, harassment,
violence, self-harm, scams, spam, impersonation, illegal goods or services,
dangerous activity, or other objectionable material.
We are not obligated to monitor all User Content, and we do not guarantee that
objectionable content will never appear. If you see content or behavior that
violates our rules, report it in the app or contact paply.social@gmail.com.
7. Community Rules and Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not use Paply to:
- Harass, bully, intimidate, abuse, threaten, defame, exploit, objectify, stalk,
or shame another person.
- Post, request, send, or promote sexual content involving minors, non-consensual
intimate content, sexual exploitation, prostitution, trafficking, or illegal
sexual services.
- Post pornography, explicit sexual activity, graphic nudity, or content that
violates Paply's age rating or App Store requirements.
- Promote hate, discrimination, dehumanization, or violence based on protected
traits or personal identity.
- Impersonate someone, misrepresent your identity, create fake accounts, or use
another person's photos without permission.
- Share another person's private information without permission, including
addresses, exact location, phone numbers, financial information, or intimate
images.
- Send spam, scams, phishing, malware, unwanted promotions, chain messages, or
manipulative links.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, sell, or misuse user data or profile content.
- Use bots, automated tools, fake engagement, scripts, or unauthorized clients.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, probe, bypass, or interfere with Paply,
its security systems, App Check, Firebase services, entitlement checks,
payment validation, or moderation systems.
- Circumvent blocks, reports, bans, feature limits, eligibility checks, account
deletion restrictions, or safety controls.
- Upload viruses, malicious code, or content designed to damage devices,
networks, accounts, or data.
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other
rights.
- Use Paply for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or unauthorized commercial
activity.
We may investigate suspected violations and take action we believe is
appropriate, including warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, account
suspension, account termination, device or payment restrictions, preservation of
records, and reports to law enforcement or safety organizations where allowed or
required.
8. Blocking, Reporting, Unmatching, and Safety Tools
Paply provides safety tools such as block, report, unmatch, profile sharing,
and support contact options. These tools are part of the Service's safety
design, but they do not replace your own judgment or emergency services.
When you submit a report, you authorize Paply to review the reported content,
related account information, relevant messages, profile data, safety signals,
and other information needed to investigate and respond. Paply may not always be
able to tell you the outcome of a report because of privacy, safety, security,
or legal limits.
Blocking or unmatching may limit future visibility or communication with another
user, but we cannot guarantee that you will never see the person in another
context, on another service, through another account, or outside Paply.
9. Memberships, In-App Purchases, and Concierge
Paply may offer paid features, memberships, or subscriptions, including Paply
Concierge monthly and yearly plans. Paid features may include access to
Concierge scheduling tools, premium experiences, or other benefits described in
the app at the time of purchase.
If you buy a subscription or other digital feature through the Apple App Store,
Google Play, or another authorized app store provider, your purchase is handled
by that provider and is subject to that provider's payment terms. Prices,
billing period, renewal terms, free trials, introductory offers, taxes, and
available cancellation options are shown before purchase by the app store
provider.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your
app store account before the renewal deadline required by that provider. Deleting
the Paply app or deleting your Paply account may not cancel an active
subscription. You must manage or cancel app store subscriptions through your
Apple Account, Google Play account, or the provider that processed the purchase.
Paply may validate purchase receipts or transaction data to confirm entitlement
status, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and sync paid access across devices.
If a subscription expires, is cancelled, fails billing, is refunded, is revoked,
or cannot be validated, paid access may end or be limited.
Except where required by law or app store rules, payments are non-refundable.
Refund requests for purchases made through Apple or Google are generally handled
by the app store provider, not Paply.
You may not sell, transfer, share, sublicense, or manipulate a Paply membership,
entitlement, receipt, subscription, or paid feature. You may not bypass app
store payment systems for digital content or features that are required to use
in-app purchase under platform rules.
10. Third-Party Services and Content
Paply relies on third-party services to operate parts of the Service, such as
authentication, cloud hosting, databases, storage, push notifications, app
attestation, crash diagnostics, app store payments, maps or location services,
GIF search, and support workflows. Paply may also display links, content, or
features from third parties.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Paply
is not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, policies,
availability, or actions, except where applicable law says otherwise.
11. Privacy
Paply's Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and
protect information. Please read it carefully at
https://www.paply.social/privacy.
By using Paply, you agree that Paply may process information as described in the
Privacy Policy and as needed to provide, secure, moderate, personalize, improve,
and support the Service.
12. Account Deletion and Termination
You may request account deletion through the in-app account settings where
available, or by contacting paply.social@gmail.com. For security, Paply may
require recent authentication, identity confirmation, or other verification
before completing deletion.
Account deletion may remove or de-identify your account and profile from active
systems, subject to retention described in our Privacy Policy. Some information
may remain where needed for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention,
moderation records, dispute resolution, backups, transactions, or enforcement.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel active subscriptions processed by
Apple, Google, or another app store provider. You are responsible for cancelling
subscriptions through the provider that billed you.
Paply may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Service
at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, the Community Guidelines,
law, platform requirements, another person's rights, or the safety or integrity
of the Service. We may also terminate or restrict access if continued service is
not commercially, legally, or technically practical.
13. Paply's Rights
Paply and its licensors own the Service, including the app, software, design,
interfaces, features, branding, trademarks, logos, content, documentation,
systems, and other materials that are not User Content.
Subject to these Terms, Paply grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Service for
your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell,
lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as
allowed by law or with Paply's written permission.
If you send feedback, ideas, suggestions, or requests to Paply, you allow Paply
to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
14. Service Changes and Availability
Paply may change, suspend, remove, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service
at any time. We may add or remove features, change matching or recommendation
logic, update eligibility requirements, change membership benefits, adjust
safety systems, or modify support processes.
We work to keep Paply reliable, but the Service may be interrupted, delayed, or
unavailable because of maintenance, outages, third-party services, network
issues, security events, legal requirements, product changes, or other reasons.
15. Disclaimers
Paply is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by
law, Paply disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement,
availability, reliability, accuracy, safety, and compatibility.
Paply does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or always available.
- Matches, recommendations, filters, search results, messages, reports,
moderation, or notifications will be accurate, complete, timely, or reliable.
- User identities, content, intentions, background, location, age, relationship
status, availability, or compatibility are verified or accurate.
- Interactions with other users will be safe, respectful, successful, lawful, or
free from harm.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some of the
above may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paply and its affiliates, officers,
employees, agents, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for
indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit
damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, reputation, business, opportunity,
personal relationships, or emotional distress, arising from or related to your
use of the Service or interactions with other users.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paply's total liability for all claims
arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the
greater of the amount you paid Paply through the Service in the 12 months before
the claim or 100 U.S. dollars.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable
law, including liability for intentional misconduct, fraud, or personal injury
where such limits are not permitted.
17. Indemnity
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold
Paply and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, service providers, and
licensors harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and
expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Service.
- Your User Content.
- Your violation of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, law, or another
person's rights.
- Your interactions, meetings, events, or disputes with other users.
- Your fraud, misrepresentation, negligence, or willful misconduct.
18. App Store Terms for Apple Users
If you downloaded Paply from the Apple App Store or use Paply on an Apple device,
the following additional terms apply:
- These Terms are between you and Paply, not Apple.
- Apple is not responsible for Paply or its content.
- Paply is responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Service as
described in these Terms or required by law. Apple has no obligation to
provide maintenance or support for Paply.
- If Paply fails to conform to an applicable warranty that cannot be disclaimed,
you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the app, if
any, according to Apple's terms. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Apple
will have no other warranty obligation for Paply.
- Paply, not Apple, is responsible for claims relating to Paply or your use of
Paply, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, consumer
protection claims, privacy claims, and intellectual property claims, except
where Apple's terms state otherwise.
- You must comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and any other Apple terms
that apply to your use of apps, subscriptions, purchases, or devices.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section.
After you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce this section
against you as a third-party beneficiary.
19. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content on Paply infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy,
publicity, or other rights, contact paply.social@gmail.com with enough information
for us to review the issue.
Your notice should include:
- Your name and contact information.
- A description of the content or right at issue.
- Where the content appears in Paply.
- A statement explaining why you believe the content violates your rights.
- Any supporting documentation or links.
We may remove content, restrict accounts, or request more information as needed
to evaluate the complaint.
20. Disputes
If you have a concern, contact paply.social@gmail.com first so we can try to
resolve it informally. Most issues can be handled faster through support than
through a formal process.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Where the law of your location gives
you mandatory consumer rights or requires a different dispute process, those
rights and requirements apply.
21. Changes to These Terms
Paply may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may
provide notice in the app, by email, on our website, or by another reasonable
method. The updated Terms will be effective when posted or when the notice says
they take effect.
Your continued use of Paply after updated Terms take effect means you accept the
updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using Paply and may request
account deletion.
